Our charming villa attracts a number of repeat guests who enjoy its peaceful location yet proximity to local beaches. Sleeping ten comfortably, with five bedrooms, it has everything you might need for a relaxing holiday.
The ground floor consists of a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with French windows opening onto the shady covered terrace which is very welcome during the summer months. The terrace overlooks a good sized private pool (10m x 5m, with deep end), and has a built in BBQ and summer kitchen with drinks fridge. Around the pool area there are sunbeds with parasols, plus a comfy corner with contemporary outdoor furniture.
One of the double bedrooms is located on the ground floor, with adjacent shower room and w/c, with the remaining bedrooms on the middle and upper level of the house. On the middle level halfway up the stairs, there is a good-sized double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, then on the top (first) floor, there are two large bedrooms which can be made up as either king-size double or twin beds, plus a smaller bunkroom, perfect for children.
The villa is only a short walk (6 mins) from the sandy "Grand Boucharel" beach - a natural gently shelving bay, great for children. The larger, sandy "Gaillarde" beach, with lifeguard, w/c's and first aid station is a 15-minute walk, but there is also a large, free car park. Opposite the beach there is a bar and restaurant "Le Windy", with a well stocked grocery shop (fresh bread/croissants/international newspapers etc), and on the beach itself is the superb "Maiva Plage" beach bar and restaurant, with sunloungers on the beach for hire, and a mouthwatering menu.
St Aygulf is the nearest town (2km) and has everything you might need, including supermarket, banks, post office, pharmacy, twice-weekly markets, and several restaurants. The lovely village of San Peire Les Issambres is only a 4km drive (with regular high speed ferries to St Tropez), and Ste Maxime is a must visit only 10km along the coast road, with narrow streets full of restaurants, bars and small boutiques, plus evening craft markets during the high season. Frejus and St Raphael are also very nice towns (10km), with Roman ruins, and large sandy beaches. Just a short drive inland you can find vineyards and stunning countryside, and a bit further afield, the famous "Gorges Du Verdon" (1hr)
